Hier kannst du einen kurzen Film sehen, der die Umwandlung von einer Larve (Goliathus goliatus) zur Puppe zeigt. Normalerweise sieht man diesen Vorgang nicht, da er sich im Innern des Kokons abspielt. Diese Larve konnte sich keinen richtigen Kokon erstellen, weshalb ich eine künstliche Verpuppungsmulde baute. Zum Betrachten ist QuickTime erforderlich. |
This short movie shows the transformation from larva (Goliathus goliatus) to pupa. Normally this process is not visible because it happens hidden in the pupal cell. This larva was not able to construct a good cocoon. Therefore I built an artificial pupal cell that made observation possible. This movie requires QuickTime. |
