Dies ist einer der grössten Käfer, die kontinuierlich nachgezüchtet werden. Seine Ähnlichkeit mit dem Goliathkäfer Goliathus goliatus ist unverkennbar. Männliche Käfer sind matt grün gefärbt, die Weibchen sind hornlos und schillern glänzend grün.
Die Larven sind einzeln zu halten. Sie können bis zu 30 g schwer werden und eine Körperlänge von bis zu 9 cm erreichen.

This is one of the biggest beetle being continuously bred. It looks very similar to the goliath-beetle Goliathus goliatus. The basic color of the males is dull green, females wear no horns and have a nice iridescent green gloss.
Keep the larvae separately to avoid cannibalism. Larvae can weigh up to 30 g and reach a length up to 9 cm.
