Meist friedliche Boden bewohnende Vogelspinne mit hübscher Färbung. Da sich die Spinne gerne einen Unterschlupf gräbt, sollte das Bodensubstrat mindestens 5 cm hoch stehen. Ein Versteck aus einer Korkrinde wird gerne angenommen. Nicht zu feucht halten. Bei anhaltender Belästigung schleudert die Spinne ihre Abdominal-Brennhaare in die Luft.
Für Anfänger geeignet.

This is certainly a pretty one and a good one for beginners because of its mostly friendly behavior. This tarantula spends nearly its whole life on the ground. Make sure there is enough substratum (about 5 cm high) to allow digging. The tarantula will also accept a piece of bark as a burrow. Keep humidity rather low (about 65 %). Don't annoy this one or it will kick a cloud of urticating hairs against you.
